研究概要 |
We are working on development of fabrication process of the plasmonic probe for tip enhanced Raman scattering (TERS). TERS combines the advantages of both scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and Raman spectroscopy, and has become a powerful analytical technique for studying 2D monolayers, because it allows very high-resolution and high-sensitivity local spectroscopic investigation and imaging and also provides more chemical information. We are also exploring the applications of TERS for characterization of 2D materials such as graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide as well as monitoring the defects which will be useful to understand them in detail. In addition, we are also working on tip-enhanced photoluminescence (TEPL).
