Generator polynomial matrices of quasi-cyclic (QC) codes and their identical equations are appeared in Lally-Fitzpatrick paper in 2001. They are extended to generalized QC codes by the authors in 2009. In this paper, codes over a class of Euclidean domains are considered and their generator matrices and identical equations are developed. That class includes, e.g., the ring of Gaussian integers. Under this general setting, our unified theory enables one to classify and construct various types of codes. |
