The project involves the development of IrO2 nanoparticles (nps) by controlling the size of nps and by modification of the carbon support by using doped graphene (nitrogen and boron). Smaller size of the particle ensures large active area and doping the carbon support with heteroatoms such as results in indirect modification of electronic structure of the nps.
